California Southern University welcomes international students from around the world who are seeking an outstanding American education. You can earn an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree from the comfort of your own home country.

Applicants whose native language is not English and who have not earned a degree from an appropriately accredited institution where English is the principal language of instruction must provide evidence of English proficiency. This requirement can be met by passing the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Official test scores should be sent directly from the testing agency to CalSouthern Admissions. The TOEFL can easily be scheduled by contacting an agency that handles TOEFL in your home country. Our TOEFL code number is 8869.

Applicants submitting diplomas, degrees, and course transcripts from non-U.S. institutions will have their academic credentials evaluated. The evaluation process will determine if an applicant’s education meets the admission requirements for CalSouthern, and if any credits are eligible for transfer.

To expedite the admissions process, the following is a list of three credential evaluation services available for applicants with degrees earned outside the United States must have their academic credentials evaluated by an authorized agency.
