Dr. Jeffrey Zeig to Offer “Personal Reflections on the Masters of Psychotherapy” at California Southern University

Public Invited to Attend Free Lecture and Webinar Presented by the Founder and Director of the Milton H. Erickson Foundation and the Architect of the Evolution of Psychotherapy Conferences

Irvine, California - On August 19, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., California Southern University will host psychology luminary Dr. Jeffrey Zeig, who will deliver a two-hour lecture titled “Personal Reflections on the Masters of Psychotherapy.” In it, Dr. Zeig will offer his unique perspective on the lives, the work, and the impact of some of the iconic pioneers in psychotherapy, including Milton H. Erickson, Virginia Satir, Carl Whitaker, Carl Rogers, and Victor Frankl. The lecture is part of the Irvine, California university's acclaimed “Master Lecture Series.”

Dr. Zeig is the founder and director of the Milton H. Erickson Foundation and studied intermittently with Dr. Erickson for more than six years. He is the architect of the Evolution of Psychotherapy Conferences, widely regarded as both the world's largest and most important conferences on psychotherapy, and also organizes the Brief Therapy Conferences, the Couples Conferences, and the International Congresses on Ericksonian Approaches to Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. The author, co-author, or editor of more than 20 books, Dr. Zeig maintains a private practice in Phoenix, Arizona and is a frequent speaker at major universities and teaching hospitals, including the Mayo Clinic, the Menninger Clinic, and MD Anderson.
