California Southern University Launches Lecture Series Featuring Acclaimed Business Experts

Online university invites public to attend inaugural lecture January 4, 2013 in person or online

Irvine, California—December 17, 2012—California Southern University is pleased to announce the new Business Track of its acclaimed Master Lecture Series. The Business Track’s inaugural lecture, titled “Developing a Powerful Online Lead-Generation Engine: How to Write Your Own Success Story,” will be presented by former IBM executive and online marketing expert Judy Key Johnson on January 4, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. PST. The public is invited to attend at no charge in person or via live online webinar. Registration information can be found here.

The new Business Track will complement the Master Lecture Series’ Psychology Track which was launched in 2009. Since then, more than 35 lectures have been presented, featuring luminaries from the world of psychology, including Dr. Jeffrey Zeig, internationally acclaimed scholar, author, psychotherapist and the architect of the Evolution of Psychotherapy conferences; Drs. Edward Teyber and Faith Holmes McClure, nationally respected educators and co-authors of the groundbreaking Interpersonal Process in Therapy: An Integrated Model; and Esther Perel, one of the world’s most respected voices on couples and sexuality and the author of the international bestseller Mating in Captivity: Unlocking Erotic Intelligence.

People in an officeThe Master Lecture Series Business Track will feature recognized business thought leaders who will deliver monthly lectures on topics ranging from best practices in management to entrepreneurship, e-commerce and digital marketing, the new face of human resources and leadership strategies, among many others. The Psychology Track has covered topics ranging from the masters of psychotherapy to an exploration of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), an analysis of the techniques and efficacy of video therapy, cyberbullying, military mental health issues, developments in neuroscience, and attachment security and complex interpersonal trauma, among many others.

All of CalSouthern’s Master Lecture Series events are free of charge, open to the public, and can be attended in person at the university’s Irvine, California campus or online via live streaming webinar.
