Armed Forces Tuition Assistance (TA) is a benefit paid through the DOD to eligible members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Each service has its own criteria for eligibility, obligated service, application process, and restrictions. For active duty military members and reservists, TA offers $4,500 of TA per fiscal year, at a semester credit cap of $250. An Education Services Officer (ESO) at each base/installation should be able to advise you on program eligibility. When applying for TA, we suggest that you begin the TA application process 3 weeks prior to the beginning of each course term. Prior to applying for TA, students should first apply online at CalSouthern:
