The Air Force tuition assistance program is designed to give you the funding you need to help you go back to school. CalSouthern is also dedicated to your success, and we want to make sure you receive the personalized one-on-one attention you deserve. With Air Force tuition assistance covering most, if not all, of the cost of your tuition, there is nothing standing in the way of you receiving a quality education.

You may be eligible for Air Force tuition reimbursement if you are active-duty Air Force personnel and have more than 120 consecutive days of being on active duty, or in the Reserves with at least 24 months of active duty service. The Air Force tuition assistance program may provide you with up to 100 percent of your university tuition costs to attend California Southern University.

If you wish to use your available Air Force tuition assistance funds, please follow the steps below. Are You Having Problems with Your Air Force Tuition Assistance Online Registration?
If you encounter any problems when registering online for your Air Force tuition assistance benefits, please feel free to give us a call so we can assist you. Below are some of the most common problems you should check first if experiencing issues with your registration process.

Are you requesting Air Force tuition assistance for courses that start more than 30 days in the future?
The AFVEC system only allows you to enter in dates of courses that start within 30 days.

Are you missing personal data (name, email address, date of birth) when you try to register?
It is important that you enter in your correct name, social security number and DOB since the AFVEC system uses that info to properly identify you. If that information is incorrect, you will need to correct it before continuing with your TA request.

Are you requesting Air Force tuition assistance for courses of a lower course level than the highest level already awarded to you?
An example would be if you are requesting courses as part of an Associate’s degree when you have already used your Air Force tuition assistance for courses at the Bachelor’s level.
