• • Military-Friendly Environment- Navy tuition assistance including Post 9/11 and MyCAA financial assistance is accepted.
• • Flexibility and Convenience - CalSouthern offers 100-percent online courses and flexible eight- or 16-week terms. This gives you the flexibility you need to manage your own academic progress while in the Navy.
• • Transferability of Credits – We will evaluate your SMART transcripts and maximize your available credits from other accredited schools, as well as any previous Navy experience credits earned.
• • One-on-One Faculty-Learner Contact – When you enroll in a class at CalSouthern, we assign you a Faculty Mentor who will help you successfully complete your coursework. Think of your Mentor as your personal instructor. We measure ourselves by your progress; our number-one goal is your success.
• • No Standardized or Other Entrance Exams – We believe the scores you receive on a SAT, GMAT, GRE, or LSAT exam should not be the deciding factor on whether you should be admitted into a university. Your adult life experiences, especially those you have received while in the Navy, are good indicators of your passion to succeed.

1. You won’t waste time commuting to and from a physical campus. If you are deployed, you won’t have the ability to attend a live class.
2. If you have a family, they come first, and you may not have enough time during the day to attend class. You need the flexibility that an online education offers so you can study around your schedule.
3. You are a self-starter that is motivated to succeed. You don’t need the daily structure and set study times commonly found at a traditional school setting.

By serving your country in the Navy, you have earned a great opportunity to go back to school and receive an education.
