Dr. JOHN Q. BELT's expertise involves cost-effective exploration teams. After Dr. Belt received a D.B.A. Degree in Business Management from California Pacific University(2000) and then his Psy.D. Degree in Psychology from California Southern University(2002), he used the combined synergies of both academic disciplines to improve the group building dynamics for developing oil and natural gas exploration teams. Dr. Belt accomplished this by utilizing the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, or MBTI Types Personality Inventory, for assessing the strengthens and weaknesses of individuals to determine their proper implementation and utilization within their oil & natural gas exploration team assignments. This resulted in the maximum exploration output on a risk/reward basis in determining the most statistical and prolific hydrocarbon drill-site locations within each respective paleodepositional environment.

Dr. Ewald has spent his career on the cutting edge of education with a continuous focus on how to blend innovation and education for the benefit of global learners. During his career, Dr. Ewald has been able to blend innovation, technology, and cutting edge teaching techniques to synergistically provide education to learners through consortiums with other institutions.
In early assignments, Dr. Ewald wrote grants to bring alternative fuel information and computers in rural areas of Iowa to teach metric systems to night learners. For most learners, these classes were the first ones where traditional lecturing was replaced with hands on computer-assisted instruction. Once the grants were over, the computers remained for many years in classrooms providing learners with their first hands on computer experience.
For approximately 12 years, Dr. Ewald worked in industry but remained focused on North American education. Dr. Ewald worked on the development of performance contracting. Many schools, universities, and colleges had significant educational infrastructure needs but no money. By using performance contracting energy savings on lighting, heating, and air conditioning could be used to purchase more teachers, better classroom environments, and instructional equipment.
In the last few years, Dr. Ewald has returned full-time to education with a focus on direct assessment of education. In collaboration with a colleague, they developed a "world class" program to assess inbound education strengths and outbound educational results. These programs now provide solid data with regard to the effectiveness of teaching in a particular subject area or for an entire degree program.
