Gyongyi Konyu-Fogel, DBA
Areas of Interest and Expertise
Globalization and its impact on U.S. business, developing countries and less-developed countries, global leadership, regional economic integration, the European Union, change management, innovation and entrepreneurship
Dr. Fogel has worked at Fortune 500 companies in New York City and Budapest, Hungary in international trade, product management, marketing and promotions, and industry analysis. She managed international and national clients and conducted market development, economic forecasts, industry analysis, program development, and trade promotion.
She has over 20 years’ experience teaching business face-to-face as a full professor and has taught doctoral and graduate business classes online for 10 years at various universities across the U.S. Dr. Fogel has an active research focus and has served as a consultant introducing new projects, facilitating training and organizational development, improving customer service operations through teamwork, improving cross-functional alignment, and encouraging innovation, diversity, and technological advancement. She has successfully managed organizational change, responding to market challenges and building competitive advantages.
Dr. Fogel is a regular presenter at conferences and seminars, on topics ranging from globalization, to leadership, entrepreneurship, and business revitalization.
