Introduction to the Master of Science in Dispute Resolution (MSDR)
With more and more courts, government agencies and businesses turning to dispute resolution as a way to avoid the uncertainty and expense of litigation, the demand for educated and skilled mediators, arbitrators and conciliators has never been higher. It’s an exciting and diverse field, too, with opportunities arising in the legal system, business administration, human resources, public and governmental agencies, and non-profits.
Students in CalSouthern's MSDR program receive one-on-one instruction from licensed attorneys and experienced conflict management professionals. The MSDR is customizable, too. You can focus comprehensively on dispute resolution, or specialize in workplace disputes, international trade or court procedures. You’ll develop knowledge and practical expertise that will prepare you for a specialized career in dispute resolution, while honing communication and conflict management skills that are invaluable in any workplace.
The California Committee of Bar Examiners requires that CalSouthern refer all prospective students and applicants to the required disclosures. Please click here to review the disclosure.
