OBJECTIVES

The primary objectives of the Doctor of Psychology degree program are to:


  • Provide learners with the knowledge and skills necessary for growth in their professional career.

  • Evaluate and apply a variety of effective psychotherapeutic techniques and modalities to improve, restore or maintain healthy individual, couples, and family relationships.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Admission to the Doctor of Psychology program requires a Master's degree or its equivalent in the field of study or related field from an appropriately accredited institution.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

The Doctor of Psychology degree requires a total of 60 graduate semester credits completed in the field of study beyond a Master's degree.

The following requirements must also be met:


  • A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (B) or higher.

  • Official Bachelor's and Master's transcripts must be on file with the University.
