The PsyD and State Licensure

CalSouthern’s Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) meets the educational requirements for licensure as a clinical psychologist set forth by the California Board of Psychology. Because CalSouthern is regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission, its PsyD is recognized by the licensing bodies of numerous other states across the country, as well.

The chart below provides additional information regarding the CalSouthern PsyD and state licensure. However, please be aware that each states’ policies and requirements vary greatly and are subject to change and/or dependent upon the circumstances of each case. It is each student’s responsibility to confirm with the appropriate regulatory body that CalSouthern’s PsyD will be accepted in a particular state.
