Thomas Van Dyke, PhD

Dr. Thomas Van Dyke is an experienced and passionate educator with over a dozen years of university teaching experience in management information systems at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. His commitment to teaching excellence was recognized when he was selected as Teacher of the Year for the College of Business at UNLV in 1999. Dr. Van Dyke also has industry training experience, having taught Oracle certification classes in structured query language, database design and database administration. He has worked for the City Public Service of San Antonio, TRW Defense Systems Group, and various consulting clients. He has received research grants to create expert systems for Mary Kay Cosmetics and to study service quality and customer satisfaction for IBM Corporation.

Dr. Van Dyke has published numerous academic articles and book chapters. His work appears in top MIS journals including MIS Quarterly and Decision Sciences.
