CalSouthern’s faculty mentors are talented, highly credentialed educators who are also experienced practitioners in the subject areas in which they teach—and they use that practical experience to help learners apply the concepts they learn to current, real-world issues.

A common misconception about online learning is that it is impersonal, that learners are on their own. At CalSouthern, that could not be further from the truth. Faculty mentors get to know their students and provide one-on-one, personalized feedback on their assignments. Chantelle Capeletti, MSN

After working in medical instrument sales for several years, Mrs. Capeletti returned to school to pursue a career in nursing. After earning her MSN in Nursing Education from University of Central Florida, Mrs. Capeletti’s love for pediatric nursing and education led her to her most recent position of Clinical Nurse Educator and Student Placement Coordinator for Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, Florida.

Mrs. Capeletti is a member of the American Nurses Association and Florida Nurses Association. She is a Subject Matter Expert & Course Contributor for Mosby’s Pediatric Nursing Orientation, a Clinical Expert Reviewer for Elsevier Clinical Skills and Subject Matter Expert Reviewer for Lippincott Advisor.

Mrs. Capeletti lives in Florida and is an avid runner. She enjoys sewing and baking as well. Mrs. Capeletti is a huge Disney fan and spends much of her free time at the theme parks with her family.
