The CalSouthern Enrollment Process in 10 Easy Steps
At CalSouthern, we make it easy for you to begin working right away toward your academic and professional goals. There are no entrance exams and courses start monthly—you don’t have to wait for the start of a semester. You’ll never experience the frustration of closed courses, either. And with our self-paced learning, you can progress toward your degree at the pace that works for you and your schedule.
We have streamlined the enrollment process as well, with our convenient online application portal and dedicated and professional enrollment advisors who are always available to walk you through the process and answer any questions you might have.
Here’s how the CalSouthern enrollment process works, in 10 steps:
The online form is intuitive and easy to use. You can provide the requested information in a matter of minutes.
Request your academic transcripts from your previous schools. They should be submitted directly to the CalSouthern’s Registrar’s Office—or use our convenient e-transcript service. Graduate program applicants should submit transcripts of their undergraduate degree program and any additional college courses completed. Undergraduate program applicants must submit their high school transcripts (or complete and sign an attestation from confirming your high school graduation) and transcripts of any completed collegiate courses.
To ensure academic integrity, CalSouthern requires a copy of a government-issued ID. Just scan and upload a copy of your driver’s license, passport, government employee card or official government ID card, using our convenient online tool.
Applicants to graduate programs must submit a short (1-2 pages) personal statement. It helps you and the university ensure that the program is a good fit for you and that you are positioned for success—most applicants enjoy this process. You can read more about the personal statement here.
CalSouthern’s application fee is just $75. You can pay online or, if you prefer, you can submit your payment information by phone.
Your completed application and transcripts will be evaluated and, if you meet the requirements for admission, you will receive a notice of acceptance via email and a personalized letter of acceptance from your dean.
Once you are accepted, you will be able to review your degree plan, which lists the courses required to complete your chosen academic program. You can also review a performance fact sheet, which provides university graduation rates and other important data.
Pick the interest-free tuition payment option that’s best suited for your personal financial circumstances.
The enrollment agreement is a very important document. It clearly outlines the number of credits required to complete your program and any transfer credits accepted, the total cost of your program, the tuition refund policy and other important information. You will also make your first tuition payment at this time.
Once the signed enrollment agreement and first tuition payment are received, you’ll be contacted by your academic support team including your academic advisor and student success advisor. They will confirm the start date for your first course and walk you through a quick, but thorough orientation process that will give you all the information you need to get started. And they will remain there for you every step of the way on your academic journey to help you achieve all your educational goals!
