Alan Byrne, MA

General Education, Theatre Arts
Alan Byrne is a native of New York, but has spent the past 40 years in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His degrees in theatre arts are from State University College New York at New Paltz and the Pennsylvania State University. His background in the visual arts led him to a career as a scenic designer in college and community theatre. As an artist, he is a member of several professional arts organizations in Pittsburgh and has exhibited his art throughout the region. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and extensive theatre experience with CalSouthern students.
