Brandi Powell-Espiritu, MBA
My CalSouthern Experience
I’ve been with CalSouthern for multiple degrees and many of the faculty, advisors and staff are like family now. I will always appreciate and be grateful for the love, guidance and support I’ve received from the university. I am blessed that my real family believes in me and is so supportive in everything I do, but it’s nice to know that the CalSouthern community is there for me, as well.
Brandi Powell-Espiritu is the executive director of the Center for Theoretical Biological Physics at both Rice University in Houston, Texas and the University of California, San Diego. She is a fellow, as well as an honorary global advisory board member. Brandi has worked with professors from several universities, spearheading multiple national and international conferences. In 2010, she co-organized the International Conference on Biological Physics (ICBP), which hosted four Nobel Laureates, including Secretary of Energy Dr. Steven Chu.
Before completing her Master of Business Administration with a focus in project management at CalSouthern in 2013, Brandi attended CalSouthern for her Bachelor of Business Administration.
