CalSouthern offers a collection of outstanding online master’s degree programs for learners in the Schools of Psychology, Business, Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement, Law and Nursing.
CalSouthern’s School of Behavioral Sciences offers two master’s degree programs. The Master of Arts in Psychology (MA) is a great degree plan for people considering a career in marriage and family therapy or as a clinical counselor. It satisfies the educational requirements for licensure in California and many other states. The Master of Science in Psychology (MS) is an excellent option for health care professionals seeking continuing education or to position themselves for career advancement. It can also be a quicker track toward your doctoral degree via CalSouthern’s PsyD program.
CalSouthern’s School of Business offers the Master of Business Administration (MBA)—the nation’s most popular post-graduate degree, by far. It is a well-rounded and versatile degree that can prepare you for a wide variety of leadership positions in businesses of any size and across all business sectors. The CalSouthern MBA is a customizable program. Focus your studies in one of six growing and in-demand topic areas: human resources management, international business, strategic leadership, management, finance and project management. You can also build your own program to concentrate in an area of special interest.
In CalSouthern’s School of Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement, the Master of Science in Law Enforcement Executive Leadership (MSLEEL) is an innovative degree program that was developed in conjunction with an advisory board comprised of police chiefs and other law enforcement leaders. The MSLEEL’s curriculum has been crafted to help law enforcement professionals qualify for rank promotions, pay increases and specialized assignments.
CalSouthern’s School of Law offers three outstanding master’s programs. The Master of Laws (LLM) gives attorneys the opportunity to grow their practices by gaining specialized knowledge in one of three growing fields: commerce and global trade, environmental policy and alternative dispute resolution. The Master of Science in Dispute Resolution prepares learners for a career in another growth area: mediation and arbitration. Finally, the Master of Science in Law (MSL) is designed for people who want a well-rounded, graduate-level study of law, but who are not interested in becoming an attorney. Far more advanced than a paralegal program, it’s a great option for business leaders, policy makers and advocates, litigation support professionals and human resources professions, as well as executives from a wide variety of other fields.
CalSouthern’s School of Nursing’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is designed for nurses looking to advance into leadership and senior education positions. Its curriculum includes cutting-edge subjects ranging from population health to leadership, nursing education and evidence-based practice, among others. It also incorporates relevant courses from the Schools of Business and Behavioral Sciences, so that students can choose to develop specialized expertise in the psychology of chronic illness, stress-related disorders, addiction, informatics, healthcare administration or strategic management.
