The faculty mentors in CalSouthern’s School of Law are skilled, practicing attorneys as well as dedicated, responsive and highly credentialed educators.

They will be there for you—via phone, email or Skype—to answer any questions you may have and to help you master the course material. And, equally important, they will help you take the concepts you learn and apply them to resolve challenges commonly faced in legal practice today.

Bio
Mark Loza earned his B.A in English from the University of California, Davis and a teaching credential from National University in Costa Mesa.  He was an educator for several years, teaching multiple subjects at the intermediate school level.  While there, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton. He also interned with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Civil Litigation unit.
Mr. Loza has been a practicing attorney for over 15 years, specializing in the areas of paternity and family support as a prosecutor for the Los Angeles County Child Support Services Department.  His practice encompasses the areas of law enforcement, family law, UIFSA (interstate), worker’s compensation, bankruptcy, probate and the Unemployment Appeals Board.  He has served as a mentor for new attorneys and is a strong supporter of working adults who wish to further their education, just as he did.
When not working, Mark and his wife can be found on their numerous travels supporting their two daughters in travel softball and competitive cheer.
