Program Chair
Dr. Mark K. Young, PsyD I/O, MBA, BBA
Dr. Mark Young leads and supports specific academic and administrative initiatives and curriculum enhancements to support the Mentor and Learner experience as the Program Chair for the School of Business and Management at California Southern University.
Dr. Young’s 19-year career in higher education includes roles as Program Chair, Department Chair, Full Time Faculty, Corporate Liaison, Director of Corporate Partnerships, and Divisional Vice President for Academic Partnerships.
Dr. Young earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Averett University in Danville, VA. A Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management at the University of Phoenix, and a Doctor of Psychology, in Organizational Leadership from the University of the Rockies. His dissertation focuses on unethical behaviors in the commission sales work environment. Current research interests include unethical leadership and decision-making, and why Leadership in organizations behave unethically and commit crimes.

You can begin your online education at CalSouthern now. Classes at CalSouthern begin monthly. Completion of the admissions process will depend on how quickly you complete the steps in the CalSouthern application process. You may speak to an Admissions Advisor over the phone (1-800-477-2254 ext. 47822) or request information online. Once you’ve completed the online request, you may hear from an advisor within 24 hours to discuss the next steps toward starting your degree program.
CalSouthern offers flexible courses in a curriculum tailored to skills and training utilized in the education industry today. In addition, it was developed for working adults. Degree candidates can pursue a business degree online, allowing the flexibility to study on their own schedules.
