Eligibility

Who is eligible to walk at an in-person ceremony?

To participate in a commencement ceremony, all financial obligations must be satisfied, including the payment of all tuition and fees, as well as the graduation audit fee. All active status students’ financial obligations must be current. Students on monthly payment plans must pay all current/past due tuition and fees by the established ceremony registration deadline.

For undergraduate and master's program students, all coursework and academic requirements of the student's program must be complete, or scheduled and on track to be completed by the end of the calendar year in which the ceremony is held.

For doctoral students, registration in Doctoral Project 9 (DP9) for the July term or earlier is required.

Graduates may participate in one in-person ceremony per completed CalSouthern program. Registration confirmations may not be finalized until the July term add/drop date.

Do I need to register to attend the Commencement Ceremony?

Yes. Graduates must register to walk the stage and participate in CalSouthern’s annual in-person commencement ceremony. Once registration has opened, information on how to register will be sent to all eligible students.
