Doctoral Project Operations
Dr. Sheila D. Williams oversees the Doctoral Project Operations for both the School of Behavioral Sciences and the School of Business Management at CalSouthern University. Dr. Williams has over 25 years of successful professional experience in both the Education and Mental Health fields. Dr. Williams has had the privilege of serving as Director of Education, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Campus Director and her current role with California Southern University overseeing Doctoral Project Operations.
Dr. Williams serves as an advocate for Mental Health awareness and is a John Maxwell Internationally Certified Speaker, Trainer and Coach. She has delivered the keynote address for countless conferences, workshops, and seminars. Dr. Williams partners with NAMI, NAACP, DJJ and many other organizations to end the stigma associated with mental illness. After writing a very transparent memoir, My Mother’s Keeper, she was thrust into becoming a media personality, and has been featured on Fox, TV One, Rolling Out, Sheen, Marietta Daily Journal, Sister Circle, Blog Talk Radio to name a few. Referred to as ‘The Voice’, she continues to work effortlessly to bring awareness and mental health resources to underserved communities.
